Today, while texting my boyfriend, I noticed that he copies and pastes old messages so he doesn't have to write new ones. FML

Hey, I talked to him about it and he denied it and then said sorry. We've been together for four years (high school sweethearts). we've been fighting for a long while and we both think its time for a change. I still love him very much but think its time for someone to appreciate me.

Your boyfriend just doesn't make the ctrl+x

That just takes laziness to a whole new level.

how do you know he copy and pastes them? what if he just type the same thing often? just a thought that crossed my mind

Start calling him instead, if it bothers you so much.

I can understand dudes not wanting to text a butt-load or explain their whole life story so they get to the point...but this is pretty lazy. Two positive notes for this situation though: 1.) The fact he is copy pasting stuff is better than choosing to never text you back, I suppose. 2.) If it was worked correctly, this copy-pasting thing could be an awesome April Fools' Day prank.

who ******* cares! This is so childish! So what your bf copies and paste text. There are more important things out there. Your probably boring and annoying!

Woah. I feel like this response could be featured in one of those 'Well that escalated quickly' memes.

It's interesting. There was another FML awhile ago about a wife who had basically checked out during sex. The FML comments were basically chastising her for doing this, and none of them really suggested that the OP was somehow boring or deficient in the area of sex. I posted a comment similarly to many here asking what the problem was because the wife was still having sex with the husband even though it clearly did nothing for her, and I was thumbed to hell. Sex and communication are huge aspects of relationships. Why weren't the comments and reception similar. Both FMLs showcase members of relationship neglecting key aspects of their relationships. I wonder why certain ideas don't span across relationship topics. I'm assuming that many of you who commented here commented there. I'm just wondering what is your reasoning behind the differences in responses in these two similar FMLs?

#42 I agree but texting is a really bad form of communication!!!! It is too easy for something to be read in the wrong context!!!! Also he answering her texts he would just ignore them period if he had a real problem with it!!!! Op just seems like they a lil over dramatic!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure texting and sex, while both are representative of important aspects of a relationship, are two very different things that people feel very differently about.

Damn I should've just been doing this...

My lazy ex used to do the same thing.
