Today, yet again, I was getting intimate with my shower head. Some complete genius decided to flush the toilet downstairs halfway through, which sent scalding-hot water all up in my privates. I've yet to find a comfortable sitting position. FML

unless your toilet fills with hot water, it gets hot when flushed, not cold. think about it - it changes the temperature of the water by drawing some water away from the shower. if you toilet tank was filling with hot water it would pull hot water away from the shower, cooling it. if it pulls cold water away from the shower, the shower water would get hotter. no toilet fills with hot water - it is too expensive, it serves no purpose, and it would stun way worse. if your toilet fills with hot water, you're doing it wrong

I don't really understand why this has so many YDI. A lot of people male and female ********** in the shower, and women have the advantage of being able to get extra pleasure from detachable heads. Not to mention in houses that have that issue it's generally polite to not flush when the shower is running.

Explain to me, please, how that genius person was supposed to know you were playing with yourself with the shower head. Even if it is 'absurd' to flush the toilet while someone is in the shower, not pleasuring themselves with a removable shower head. Live alone. Or, at the very least, give a heads up. YDI.

Um.. Where I come from, its common sense not to flush while the showers going. And when did she ever say it was her downstairs neighbor? And she did get blasted in the ****** by burning hot water, so don't you think she'd be a bit ticked off?

The fact that she said "some genius downstairs" without specifying who that person is sort of implies that they don't live in the same unit. If I'm in the same house and my roommate or someone I live with is in the shower, then yes I'll avoid flushing the toilet. But I'm not gonna worry myself over whether or not my neighbors are in the shower.

It wasn't a downstairs neighbor, it was my brother or mom in the downstairs bathroom. I have a tri level house. And I don't have access to getting a vibrator so I'm using what I have to satisfy an occasional urge. Why is it my fault that someone flushed the toilet while I was in the shower period? That's just common courtesy, if you know that the water changed temperature or pressure when you do flush...I'm sick of all these stupid harsh comments. It's about time u set thugs straight. Look for a comment from me straightening some important things out.
