i would think she wouldnt..
just......give up
There really isn't a way of saying that you don't deserve it, because you do. First, it's your stupidity to not watch your bag in a foreign country. Second, - - well there really isn't anything else. Lastly, you're in a foreign country.... shouldn't common sense have kicked in by then to watch your bags so they don't get lost. There isn't anything wrong with being self conscious over bags, especially in a foreign country. Why would you bring debit and credit cards to a country where they're completely useless. I don't even bring that stuff with me. A license I can understand, but just hold bills and change if you're going on vacation, and it will save some space in your wallet. The only time I'd bring a credit and debit card is if I'm going across my own country (Canada), or to the USA, where they are useful in both countries.
you are aware that the majority of us debit cards are visa. which is accepted in many countries; not just the us and Canada? not saying she doesn't deserve it. but I would never travel without a debit/credit card. emergencies happen, and when your's does you'll write a fml. I on the other hand will have my debit card, and access to my money.
Uhm do you realize that all major credit cards are accepted like, everywhere?
depends on the country and I travel a lot. I've never had to use a visa, I don't own one, and I'm in my 30s and still don't need one. Why would I write an FML about a credit card? It's life, bad things happen. Sure, emergencies, but to have an emergency when you need them, and don't have them, by then, you'd think it was a bad idea to bring them. They also cost so much to use in other countries, you have to pay to use it, almost defeats the purpose of it.
Let's see... Lose your credit or debit card and the bank can send you a new one or put a temporary hold on it while you try to find it. Lose your cash... and you lose your cash. Plus if you bring cash you have to either exchange it or trust the merchant not to screw you on the exchange rate.
how are the debit and credit cards useless in Holland??? you fo realuse you CAN use them both in other countries dont you? for instance, i used my UK debit card in the Domincan Republic....
