If we're going by 80's movie formulas you know what you gotta do now. Join the poorly performing team of whatever sport her boyfriend plays, and turn them into the winning underdogs with the help of an elderly gentlemen working a menial job who used to be a professional player when he was younger. Chances are she'll leave him during the middle of the championship match when your team faces off against his when she spots him cheating to win or when his 2nd girlfriend that he's cheating on her with shows up.
