^ If I had a gun, I wouldn't shoot him. I couldn't kill someone over materialistic possessions. He would just lay face down on the floor while we wait for the cops to arrive. If he bolts for freedom, fine, whatever. If he ran at me, then no choice, he eats lead and I feel like shit for killing a desperate thief, which would feel infinitely worse than my own thumb up my ass. :p Hope it never happens.
