Weird reason

Today, my girlfriend furiously bitched me out because I got more upset about my phone screen cracking than when she told me about the death of her cat. We hadn't even met when her cat died. Did she expect me to burst into tears from hearing the story? Guess who's single again… FML

If the cat meant a lot to her you should probably be sympathetic, it's hard losing a pet. But at the same time she also shouldn't have overreacted and broken up with you over not sobbing over a deceased animal that was never relevant to your relationship to begin with.

You're better off, you don't need that much drama in your life. Still sorry op/:

Always the double standard with women. Always complaining that all men want is pussy. But when their cat dies it's world ending.

Uhh crying bout your screen is a bit much but she was dramatic so your good. But u didn't need to cry bout her cat neither.

The FML didn't say that he cried about his phone screen.

Nowadays having a moment because your screen cracked is sort of a big deal, for the simple fact all the phones functions are done by the screen, and it cost a LOT to even get it fixed. More than likely OP is crying over the fact that they now have to come out of pocket to get a new one. Now for the cat, empathy is all that was needed.

Ask to borrow pictures of her cat. Then photo shop yourself into them in a collage. Then sync "I won't give up" by Jason Mraz to the slide show and play it for her. And in the final picture it should be you by yourself on your knees screaming into the sky, "Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!'

Dude relationships is simple with this equation you+her=your wrong, breaking this equation often results in breaking the relationship

If you broke up over something that stupid then your girlfriend has bigger problems. I'd hate to see her in an actual serious situation.

Sounds to me like she was looking for a reason to escape the relationship...but that's just my perspective.

wow... um I can't really say much about that because it seems like you had a girl with a couple crossed wires there. Sorry OP.

Just wait until she's off of her period

So basically instead of getting upset at what she perceived to be an unacceptable lack of empathy immediately after it happened, she chose to wait until she could pin it on you once you got more upset at something else. Sounds like a whole lot of vindictive and conniving nope.
