ydi. if it was her dad or other relative would you have reacted the same way? she obviously loved her cat, so why wouldn't that be important to you? you care more about your inanimate object that can be replaced than a living creature whom your lover values.
Give me a break. So after he hears about her cat, he needs to never show more emotion about anything else in the future? You're just as crazy as his ex.
that's not what I ******* said. he doesn't need to only care about the cat, but the way op worded it sounded like he cared more about his phone than a living being.
My reaction would`ve been the same. ☺
Your ex-girlfriend has the logic of the FML comment section
Wonder if OP cried when his phone screen cracked
You do not need someone like that OP. Someone who creates bulls*** drama like that is not worth the time
It is just as hard to lose a cat as any other family member. You deserve to be single. She just wanted your love and support but you were more worried about your REPLACABLE phone screen than her IRREPLACAE kitty
Irreplaceable*
Caring about a cracked phone screen makes sense because it affects OP at the moment. He shouldn't have to be incredibly sad over a story of a cat from before they met. If you encountered somebody telling you their parent died about 5 years ago, you'd give them sympathy. It's not saying he didn't care about the chat at all, just that he cared about his phone screen more than a sad story.
That's not a good reason to break up. It's an excuse. You re better off without her
Say it lightly it's your girlfriend who is single. Dont worry OP im sure you'll find someone new.
Dodged a bullet
Real life problems right there. Op the gf is way to dramatic wow! Your relationship wasn't very strong if that's all it took to break things off. Shitty but get a new phone and gf .
Sounds like your better off

If the cat meant a lot to her you should probably be sympathetic, it's hard losing a pet. But at the same time she also shouldn't have overreacted and broken up with you over not sobbing over a deceased animal that was never relevant to your relationship to begin with.
You're better off, you don't need that much drama in your life. Still sorry op/:
