Today, while at church, I received a text from my girlfriend, saying, "It's not working. We're over." Not only was my phone not on silent mode, I was sitting directly beside my now ex-girlfriend. FML

Today, My girlfriend and I were watching tv when suddenly one of our phones start going off. We both have the same phone and they were next to each other. She picks up the phone and reads the text message, "I wish you were here! I'd fuck you silly" She gets pissed and runs out. It was her phone. FML

Oh jeez. The text message breakup. The indicator that no matter what, you're better off without them. Unless you're physically abusive, and they're better off without you.

That's a fail in the girlfriends behalf. Although breaking up via text message is about as low as it gets, surely the point of it is to try to make the break up less awkward? Sort offers it worse by texting someone who's sitting beside you whether you're in a church or not.
