Today, my new neighbor moved in. Because she was fairly young, I offered to mow her grass whenever it needed cut. Her dad then tried to start a fight with me because he thought it was sexual come-on. FML

You may not have been specifically offering to mow the lawn her dad thought you were referring to...But there is no way you would just randomly offer to mow a girl's lawn without expecting a little something in return.

Make the offer to the dad because it is his house. The girl is not responsible for the yard and doesn't care.
