What's worse?

Today, while talking to my girlfriend, the subject of Darth Vader came up. That's when she asked me, "Aren't Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker the same person?" I don't know what's worse, the fact that she asked me that, or the fact that I got upset over her lack of Star Wars knowledge. FML

It's downright pathetic that you got upset over your girlfriend's lack of knowledge of a stupid series. I hate Star Wars and think the guy who created it sucks. All he does is re-release those stupid movies in different formats (3D, Blu-Ray, etc.) to make more money. He doesn't do anything else, just that series. Kudos to your girlfriend for not being sucked into the black hole that is Star Wars. But although I hate Star Wars, even I know that Luke is Vader's son.

yep, nothing else. Definitely not the Indiana Jones series or anything. Hes totally only the worlds most financially successful directors/producers of all time over that one little one-hit-wonder.

George Lucas has created star wars, Indian jones, the big name and highly used company ILM,(industrial light and magic) which does a HELL of a lot of the sound and visual effects these days. You see that THX at the beginning of every movie in theatres? That's a part of Lucasfilm LTD., a George Lucas company. Oh, and you know that really cool movie Red Tail that came out this year, that's by Lucasfilm LTD. Lucasarts, their video game company, has done military simulations and one of the largest and most anticipated MMORPG games, The Old Republic, ant the fastest-growing ever. Let's hop back to ILM for a minute, shall we? Did you like the Goonies? Who Franed Roger Rabbit? Back To The Future, all parts? Forest Gump or Men in Black? How about the Harry Potter movies? All were done by Industrial Light and Magic. So before you go bashing a great visionary and my hero again, get your facts straight.

I seriously can't believe some of you. Just because she mistook characters from a fictional movie, isn't a reason to break up. That's just a stupid excuse. If their relationship is good and strong, then there is no reason to break up.
