Today, my mom said that we needed to have a family meeting because of all the issues that have been going on with our family. My mom, sister and I sat down and began to talk about everything. As I started to cry, my sister looks at my mom and says, "I win!" She bet my mom $20 that I would cry. FML

Today, my sisters and I pitched together nearly $500 to send my mom to the spa for Mother's Day. We put the printed sheet with her info into a little box with our card on top. When she opened it, she freaked out and started hugging my dad. Turns out he switched the cards and took all the credit. FML

(sigh) you have no basis for your inferences. You simply don't know what they were discussing, or if the OP was at fault. I have women friends who will cry out of frustration. It is pretty common. It sounds to me like the family knew the OP cried at what they considered limited provocation and decided to have a bet on it.
