Today, a very pretty girl came up to me and asked me for my phone number. Very pleased, I give it to her with a huge smile and tell her that I can be reached at any time. I then watch her go back to her group of friends. My number was for her gay friend, who then meekly waved at me. FML

Today, my friend and I went to a bar for drinks. I noticed this cute girl and went over to say "Hi." I had a great conversation with her and I asked for her number before she left. She passed it to me on a piece of paper with instructions specifying for my friend to call her and not me. FML

Today, I gave my phone number to a guy at the movie theatre. I was excited to receive a text a few minutes later, sure enough when I unlocked my phone I had received a message from an unknown number. It was his girlfriend. FML

The sereotypes for cheerleaders are terrible. everyone thinks that they are preppy little bitches and are hoes... and i, as a fellow cheerleader, are not any one of those... me and my friends (which are also cheer leaders) are just there to cheer. and we go unnoticed. ... we are all around happy people, that dont can if u watch us or the game.

YDI for not being aware of your surroundings should have known from the start that something was fishy when suddenly THE head cheerleader comes and asks for your phone # but anyways at least you have some experience with that type of situation and if a hot girl comes and asks for your # you already know the procedure to not be tricked again.
