hey money is money! There is not much of a difference between a clown and a princess regardless of gender at your age. ;-)
Pretty sure Mrs. Obama looks more like a man that op probably did !
It reminded me of Despicable Me.. Where the main character gets dressed as a princess for his adopted daughter's birthday. I find it sweet when people sacrifice their comfort to make someone else happy.
Yeah, just watch Despicable Me 2 and see how awesome the big dude looks in his princess dress!
Wow, the commenter above me beat me. I didn't see his comment, damn. Same thoughts people, I think so it's okay for me.
Connect*. DAMN.
op you deserved a big tip after going through that stuff
Same thoughts connect people.. * That's what I wanted to write.
Heh, #39, the government makes people do that every day!
doesn't sound that bad could have been worse
I would! What's better than being a princess AND making a bunch of kids happy AND getting paid for it?!
Because a guy wearing a dress is just so outrageous that it couldn't possibly happen in real life.
personally I think a man-princess is more entertaining than a normal princess...
I find it odd that the mother didn't verify what you would come as if she knew her kid hated clowns. Usually the costume of the entertainer is discussed beforehand.
True, but even with that in mind people usually pick something they know their kids will like.
My thought was that it may have been another kid at the child's party that had issue with the clown, not the original.
@45 That's not what 24 is getting at. 24 is saying the child's mother (maybe) have told OP not to use clown because another kid at the party may be afraid of clowns. The child's mother is the one paying for OP to dress up so there's no reason for anyone else to talk to OP. If this was the case, the likely scenario would be like the other kid's parent told the birthday kid's mother that their kid didn't like clowns. Then the birthday kid's mother told OP. I never claimed that is this likely what happened, simply just trying to explain what 24 is getting at.
16, those are typical cases. Only atypical situations show up on FML
Why wouldn't the mother have mentioned this to your employer? If your kid is scared of clowns, don't you think you'd tell the company you hired to provide entertainment? Dumbass move on her part. However, I think I'd rather see a dude in a tight pink dress than a clown any day.
Exactly, they'd find it funny. Better the giving some kid a panic attack coz his mother is a dumbass
or scarred him
At least you did your job and were able to satisfy the customer. I hope she tells others and recommends your party services.
Just remember the basics! Smile, wave, and do a little spin if they start losing interest.
