That's never a good idea!
No it's a terrible idea. Couldn't op have at least just asked him what he would think about that before she went and did it.
she probably spelled his name wrong
Smart people make smart decisions. But really, getting a tattoo should have a waiting period like getting a firearm does.
"I knew I shouldnt go and get another tattoo, of you on my arm but what do i go and do? Now I got another one now I got two. Ohohohoooo. Now I'm sitting here, with your name on my skin, I can't believe I went and did this stupid shit again. My next gf now her names gotta be Kim. Shiiiiiiiiit" eminem, puke
Under his name add the words "is an asshole".
1 - I wouldn't say never. Two tattoo artists, madly in love, decide to give each other the gift of their trade while incorporating their names into a beautiful work of art. That just sounds sweet... kinda creepy how I put it maybe.. but sweet.
124- uhhhh, what?
Why would this be *any* person's first resort for solving a dispute? "Hey, my man's mad -- better get a tattoo of his name!" Maybe you could have tried, I dunno, TALKING TO HIM?!? Christ in a landslide. AAAAAH.
I'd like it if my wife did that.
People in relationships need reciprocation from their partners, not gestures of eternal affection written on flesh. A tattoo was well meaning but hollow, OP.
Because sadly that's how trailer trash thinks.
I smell a crazy ex stalker in the making here guys
He'll even make a ******* sandwich small stuff like that is what wins over a husband >.>
Hell* whoever programmed autocorrect can suck a dock
3: Agreed. Never seen anyone with a tattoo that wouldn't have looked better without.
I've seen loads of people that look fantastic with beautiful tasteful tattoos.
ALL guys*
Yes because all those guys covered in tattoos or tattoo for a living just aren't that into tattoos. You're like a girl that thinks all guys are the same.
39 - My boyfriend thinks my tattoos are sexy.
31: I believe you have. My point is just that I personally find tattoos distracting (at best) and that no matter how good the tattoo is, I find the person more attractive without it
58 I just found the way you put your opinion to be disrespectful.
Really 66, disrespectful? Get over it.
Well I don't mean to quote Star Wars on you all, but in the words of Chancellor Palpatine.... ”Good is a point of view.” And, 66, this is a place to voice opinions. If a comment on a website gets your panties in a wad, that's really just too bad. Disrespectful is a point of view. ;)

Rather than sort out your problems, you permanently stamped his name on you? YDI op.
Especially if the hubby files for divorce after this stunt
All the people saying she should get it removed, do you have any idea how expensive and painful it is to get it removed?!! Not as easy as it sounds!
She can get it covered. Cheaper, and more beautiful on the skin. There's alaways scars after the removal. A cover tat is better
Who gets a tattoo of someone's name without talking to them first?
133: An idiot, that's who.
Go Habs!
Because nothing says "I love you" like injecting yourself with ink multiple times.
A little late, she already has.
I agree with 2. A romantic night or thoughtful gift would have been smarter.
You don't even know your husband well enough to know that he hates tattoos? Sounds like your marital problems run deeper than just tattoos.
He probably just hates HER tattoo.
My thoughts exactly.
My husband and I both have tattoos, but we both agree it's a stupid idea to get each others name.
He might not hate tattoos. He might LOVE good ones. But a lot of people get name tattoos in some generic fancy font, they're plain and took no thought to create, and if that's the case it's no surprise he wouldn't like it.

That's never a good idea!
You couldn't take him on a date or buy him something nice or something?? A tattoo? WHY
