My Skyrim knowlage may be a tad off, but I think because of some guards say this phrase (I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee) once you pass their gates. Then the morons decided that "THIS IS JOKE/MEME MATERIAL, HURR DURR". Now it suck's more than a moronic ass-brain...
