45 Amen to that. My daughter is 19 and is proud to be a virgin. It makes me proud to know that she has her head on straight. She is a beautiful young lady that wants to wait until she knows the time is right.

I'm 21, so I'm sure there are 19-year-olds who decided not to lose it to some random guy. can't really assume things. I think it's great to be able to focus on education and save the sex for later, like when i'm ready to accept the consequences (STDs / children lack of focus) I actually want to be someone and do something with my life before i'm tied down. (damn iPod killing me with its autocorrect and close keyboard on this app) so the dad could be right. and you don't have to be ugly or messed up in the head to be this old and a virgin, you just have to have a lot of self control and a good head on your shoulder... even a set of goals to accomplish first. u know what happens when we ASSuME... and poor kid, I knew what sex was since I was a little kid... probably sheltered like bus kid...
