Today, I finished the run for a play in which I played a gay man. Now that all the performances are over, I have kissed a man more times in my life than I have kissed a woman. I'm straight. FML

How dare you say such a thing? I've kissed girls onstage, does that make me a lesbian or a "pervert"? No, it's called sticking to the libretto/script and actually playing the character I was cast as.

It's called ACTING, not BEING. The character you play is in no way associated with yourself. It's just another role. A kiss is just a kiss. Maybe you're too ignorant to know this, but a lot of straight guys are secure enough with their sexuality to kiss someone of the same sex. Do you watch TV? A lot of the gay characters are played by straight men. You don't hear them complaining.
