Baby bird blues

Today, I walked outside to get the paper, and saw a dying bird I assumed had flown into the window. It was warm so I thought it might still be alive. I wasn't wearing my glasses though, and was trying to nurse a dog turd back to life. FML

Wow OP you must be pretty blind without your glasses if you thought that dog turd was a bird not the best way to start your day I say definitely FYL.

Aw in sorry op, but at least you were trying to be helpful to a possibly injured animals :) But if you're that blind with out your glasses you should probably wear them even in the morning.

Not trying to be negative but even if it actually was a dying bird and you did save it, it would spend the rest of its life in suffering.

Not necessarily. Lots of bird rescue centers and vet clinics help wounded birds, and have lots of success stories.

If you can mistake a turd for a bird with no glasses perhaps you should stick to examining things not lying outdoors on the floor when you have no glasses on.

Reminds me of the scene on Adventures in Babysitting at the bus station when Brenda doesn't have her glasses and mistakes a large white rat for a cat.
