Today, I got suspended for bringing a "hazardous weapon" to school. They were earrings. FML

Earrings in the hand of a woman are just as dangerous as knives. You could rip someones ears off with those! Or bling them to death! Argh!

The only thing a woman should do with a knife (and/or earring in this case) is a sandwich for her husband/boyfriend in the kitchen!!

Our country has become a nation of sissies. This reminds me of the story of a first grader who got suspended for pretending his chicken nugget was a gun. We should be teaching our children how to be safe around guns, not to be afraid of them! Anyway, I'm sorry about that OP. You can probably thank 9/11 in one way or another for your trouble. I'm sure the school administrators who punished you for something so ridiculous would make excellent TSA agents.

Apparently so, which is why schools should not be "gun-free zones" for law-abiding citizens, but that's a different debate altogether.

Schools are turning more and more into jails. They got rid of forks in my school! Too dangerous.
