Today, I removed the safety padding from around the trampoline because it seemed useless. This afternoon, I did a backflip, got my hair stuck in the springs, ripped out a chunk of my hair, and face planted it into the brick pavers. FML

Today, I was on a friend's trampoline trying to convince my mom that trampolines are safe and we should get one. While telling her, I smashed my knee into my face. I jumped off bleeding, slipped, hit my head on the trampoline, and got knocked unconscious. FML

Today, I decided to impress my friends by doing a flip on the trampoline. What did impress them, was my lack of tears after I hit the edge of the trampoline and broke my nose. FML

Today, I embraced my inner child and went to a trampoline park with friends. I was having a blast until I attempted a somersault and ended up bouncing right into a group of screaming toddlers. I was escorted out by a concerned parent. FML

Today, I went to a trampoline park and jumped into an adult-area foam pit that apparently used to be for children. I guess it never occurred to them to change the depth of it, as I now have a fractured ankle. FML

Today, I thought I'd impress my friends with a backflip into the pool. I ended up smacking my back on the edge of the diving board and belly-flopping into the water. Now I have a bruise and a story that everyone is intent on retelling. I'm just glad no one was filming me. I hope. FML

Today, I went swimming with this guy I like at dammed river. While we were jumping off the dam, I decided to try to impress him by doing a front flip. I didn't jump far enough off, so when I went to flip, my face skidded down the concrete wall. FML

If you have the kind of intelligence to remove safety devices, by all means, do so. It will help Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection proceed along more quickly.

How would you like it if you were just minding your own business and doing your job when some idiot came along and decided to remove you for being useless? Clearly, the trampoline was trying to teach you a lesson.

lolz was that the guy who was suffocated and crushed my like, a half ton of elephant shit or something? It's always heartwarming to hear about people Darwining themselves into their own demise. this FML would've been better if her neck snapped. Just remember, OP, the child safety caps on the Drain-O is just to keep those bastard kids from drinking the delicious soda inside. You can certainly get it open. drink up.

I'd keep the padding on just to make it easier to climb on! It's very painful to climb on the metal springs when it's hot outside.

See, it took effort and time to take that thing off, and there was just no reason to do so. It wasn´t in your way, nor was it at all harmful. I´m figuring your train of thought must have been approximately: ¨Hey, I think I´m going to take this thing off, even though that´ll take tons of time and effort, and it won´t do me any good to take it off.¨ That´s the kind of thinking that gets people killed, so you´re the lucky one.
