i feel like i have to post again. for all of those saying that the guy could be abusive. he called to ask permission to have a friend over and then even though she said no he bought her flowers, that doesn't sound abusive to me. as for cheating, the fml seems to be that she felt guilty, now if i was cheated on i wouldn't care if the SOB bought me diamonds i wouldn't feel the least bit guilty. it seems to me they had emotional problems and she either didn't inform him of these problems or let him believe that they were resolved. i think she's at fault.
