Today, I called my husband and he told me that he was going to invite his friend Jeff over that night. I told him I would prefer that he didn't come over. He took it to mean that I wanted to spend time with him and came home with flowers. Then had to tell him I was leaving him. FML

Today, I had a fight with my boyfriend over a girl he is close to. He later arrived with flowers for what I thought was an apology. He was actually breaking up with me; the flowers were for her, he just didn't want to leave them in the car. FML

This isn't an FML. If you are leaving him, I assume that you don't care about how he feels or you are trying not to. You knew he was going to be disappointed, so it doesn't really matter whether there are flowers involved or not. He sounds like a good guy if he ditches his friend and brings you flowers, but I guess you have your own reasons for leaving him, I just hope he finds a girl who truly loves him.
