Today, I yelled at my little brother for leaving the toilet seat up and told him he needed to go around the house and make sure they were all down. I went to the bathroom later to find that the toilet seats and covers from every toilet had all been removed and were sitting on my bed. FML

why is it that girls are always so adamant about leaving the seat down? do guys yell at girls if the seat is down, and we have to use the very small amount of effort needed to lift the seat? cause that's pretty much the same thing

xD At least your brother is kind enough to lift the seat. I've got two who can't aim and don't bother to lift it. I'm afraid to sit on my toilets for fear of a 'surprise'.

I've never understood what the deal is with women and leaving the toilet seat up. Oh yes, it's SOOOO horrible to take half a second to put down the seat. When was the last time you saw a MAN complaining that more often than not, we need the seat up, and yet you women always leave it down? It never happens, does it? Because it's not a such big inconvenience for us! So why can't we SHARE the work? We'll put the seat UP when we need use the bathroom, and you can put it DOWN! Is it REALLY that DIFFICULT?! Most of us are perfectly capable raising and lowering a small piece of porcelain. Unless a woman living with you has somehow lost use of her arms or lost her arms altogether, it is completely unreasonable for her to be complaining about this. ... On reflection, this sounds like the type of thing George Carlin would say... if he were alive. I miss George Carlin...

The difference is toilet seats are made to be sat on they're there to be down not up, and guys can pee sitting down if they want.

the reason y guys get told 2 put the seats down is because sometimes girls dont look before they sit down because they expect the seats to be down or it could be night and they could be half asleep or something and are to tired to look and when they sit down on the seats it isnt there and they end up in the bowl. but i for one look before i sit to make sure its down so i don't fall in

Seriously, the seat down does not hurt, as a dude I can aim with the seat down and still get it in, so chill out. The guys complaining are little boys that don't have control of their stump and can't piss straight if their lives depended on it.

guys should leave toilet seat up, girls should leave toilet seat down.....those who didn't see the seat are up when walking in the bathroom deserves to fall in there as usually the bowl faces the door which means you'll see it the moment you enter...so you were just not alert..men and women alike....or maybe you should just put the old squat toilet...:D
