Best day of my life

Today, it's my wedding day. It was meant to be perfect. The bouquet, along with a high pollen count, set my hay fever off. I walked down the aisle in front of 200 people with streaming eyes and a runny nose; I then had a sneezing fit during my vows and blew a large snot bubble. Real attractive. FML

Aww, soo many people are affected by that, but it sucks it had to happen on your wedding day x(. Did you have the wedding outside? Cause if you did that was really not good planning lol. But still, FYL. And congratulations on being married!! That's what really matters, right? :)

yes that sucks but it doesnt matter what matters is that your marrying your true love and he loves you back thats what is truely important

congrats on getting married! it is a big deal, snot bubble or no, and i'm happy for you. if your guy says "i do" to you when you've got a runny nose, he's definitely a keeper! good job for picking well... may i point out, however, that you did pick a spring wedding?

Why didn't you do the wedding inside if you have bad allergies...and why were you carrying a bouquet of flowers that you knew you'd be allergic to?

i call shenanigans on this one. i'm pretty sure that you must have been aware of all the planning for your wedding, especially the decorations and floral arrangements, and even further aware of your allergy and possible/existing allergens. if it took place outdoors, then i won't write this off, but it still seems a bit suspicious.

#86 is a sour **** with no sense of humour. to the OP: nothing spells -love forever- like a huge bubble of snot ;D

Well, look at it like this... If the guy didn't run then you are probably safe... I am with 86 on this one!

Well... I sympathize. But it's still a YDI. They make non-drowsy antihistamines now. And even if you couldn't take those for some reason, a wedding is supposed to be a good experience, not a perfect day. It's about becoming a spouse, not being a princess. I sank white satin heels an inch into muddy grass on my wedding day, and never felt even slightly bad about it because I was just happy with what was taking place. "Perfect" is a flawed expectation that holds up about as well as a house of cards. There will always be bumps in the road. So I'd forget any notions you may have of a perfect marriage and a perfect life, and shoot for a happy marriage and a happy life instead. :)
