Best day of my life

Today, it's my wedding day. It was meant to be perfect. The bouquet, along with a high pollen count, set my hay fever off. I walked down the aisle in front of 200 people with streaming eyes and a runny nose; I then had a sneezing fit during my vows and blew a large snot bubble. Real attractive. FML

Aww, soo many people are affected by that, but it sucks it had to happen on your wedding day x(. Did you have the wedding outside? Cause if you did that was really not good planning lol. But still, FYL. And congratulations on being married!! That's what really matters, right? :)

haha I agree with #63 I was gonna say, if you have hay fever, why the **** wouldn't you get fake flowers.

Well I'm not gonna say you deserved it because everyone deserves a perfect wedding (someone's gonna get knifed if mine gets messed up lol) but it's too bad you didn't think ahead. Aside from medication like everyone's suggesting, You could have tucked some tissues into your bodice to take care of the snot. Or, I've heard of giving all the ladies fancy lace handkerchiefs to hold with their bouquets in case they cry or in this case, have allergies. Anyway at least you didn't get pushed into a pool (check out Best Man Fail on youtube) so look on the bright side!

Did you not know that you have allergies? They make this amazing stuff called antihistimine. Look into it. If you're aware that you're allergic to flowers and all the other things that trigger hay fever and choose to get married in spring - and want it to be "perfect", because that's totally possible - one might think that you would have planned for that. Just saying.

#64 - fake flowers, fine, but what if there were trees or so around the church that were in bloom? Chop them off or what? She mentioned "along with a high pollen count", so it wasn't only the bouquet. Also, allergies can get worse over time. It's well possible that when she planned the wedding, often a year in advance, she had only mild hay fever and thought it'd be okay with over-the-counter medication, and then it turned out not to be. BTW, some hay fever medication makes you super tired and drowsy, really not a state you want to be in during your wedding. And as was pointed out it doesn't always work. Congrats on getting married, though!

What kind of IDIOT picks inappropriate flowers when they know they have a condition? You deserved it.

Aw…although if you knew you have bad hey fever and were going to be carrying flowers, you should've taken some allergy medicine beforehand as a precaution,

When you submit FMLs, you HAVE to put 'today' when you type it. Some people who submit FMLs didn't have their bad luck happen today, and still posted it anyway. Dumbasses.
