Today, I found out the guy that my girlfriend introduced as her brother was actually her boyfriend. I also paid for him to come out with us to the movies several times. FML

24- That is exactly what I was thinking, like why would a guy(or girl) want to share someone else, assuming the other person is aware that the person with them is cheating on someone else with them. It doesn't make sense. I'd want them all to myself.

She "introduced" the guy as her brother. As in "hey (insert OP's name), meet my brother (other guy's name).

24- I think those couple saw op is a nice guy and wanted to take advantage of him somehow. I don't think that the girl all the way and have sex with op but they will just try to mooch of op as much as they can.

ohmandapants - Touche. Although I could imagine a scenario where the girlfriend told the OP, "I have a brother named John" beforehand. And then when she actually introduces them to each other, she says to the OP, "this is John".
