Today, I was pulled over for speeding. I speak 4 languages and thought if I spoke French, the Officer would let me off with a warning thinking I was a tourist. Afterwards I turned to my wife and said, "I can't believe that worked." He was a few feet away and heard. FML

Is this guy stupid? Did you literally say that JUST as the cop left your window? You deserve it, for behaving like a child instead of accepting the penalty for speeding. You also deserve it just because you're an idiot.

for everyone calling fake, it is possible that since the cop thought he was French, they decided to warn the without looking at their license and registration. The officer probably decided against giving him a ticket and decided why even bother looking at his license, which is stupid but possible

Pretty stupid cop if they pull someone over and get no sort of ID or anything, they don't know who they're pulling over. I'm sure it would be easy enough to indicate through hand gestures or whatever to get some form of ID.

lol what he said. Rental companies will almost always have the car regged in the same state... although I did have a Nirvada regged vechicle when I went over to CA last week..... (from the UK) Also.... speak 4 languages, but can't read the speed limits/speedo = YDI!

State of nirvada? What's that? is that a cross of Nevada and nirvana? i didn' tknow such state exist. To all the people who believe this FML. It's fake. No cop would just walk away and not see his driver license. What if the OP is wanted for murder, etc. The Officer, even if he's just going to give the guy a warning, will 100% look at his driver license status to see if he's clear for wants and warrants. FAKE!
