By KayEffEh - This FML is from back in 2014 but it's good stuff - Canada - Georgetown

Today, my girlfriend admitted that she "probably wasn't even sober" when I asked her out and she said yes. Our almost 2-year relationship is the longest drunken mistake ever. FML

Yeah, she hasn't been drunk the WHOLE time, right? So, clearly, sober her appreciates the decision of drunk her. :-)

At least you two managed to last two years (:

I'm sorry OP, she isn't worth it. I know there's nothing I can do, but if it helps, I'm nuking her in my my mind.

I have heard of Canadians being nice, but this is ridiculous.

Why 9? Because she decided to tell him something about their past? That's a little psychotic.

If a long and steady relationship is a "drunk mistake“ these days then I wouldn't want to be sober.

Why is your relationship a mistake? It sounds like you two work well together. Or has she been drunk for the last two years...

I'm not getting this FML... She wasn't drunk enough to either not remember she agreed to date you or play the "I say the craziest things when I'm drunk!" card. As for longest drunken mistake ever doesn't even come close to the mistakes that start with morning sickness followed by 2 lines.

I don't know what she drank but it sounds great!

When you are drunk, you are more likely to be honest and lose inhibitions. That must mean she must have atleast liked you a bit when you asked her out.

If it was a mistake she would have broken up with you the next day. The fact that you've been in a relationship for 2 years clearly means that she's into you
