Today, while watching The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh with my 5 year-old, I realized why the kangaroo's name is Kanga, and why her son's name is Roo. Kanga-Roo. Get it? Yeah. I didn't until today. I'm 47. FML

I'm 16, but that happens to me ALL the time. The most obvious things escape me. And I'm not dumb either, so don't worry...you're just normal!

don't worry...some idiots still don't know the word "another" is just the words "an other" put together...

Maybe you didn't know because ******* winnie the pooh didn't exist back in your god forsaken times

thank you for enlightening me.

Slightly slow doesn't even begin to cover it. I've known that since I was 4.

Hmm... sunrise... the sun rises! sunset... the sun sets!

Actually, one of the first Winnie the Pooh stories was originally written in 1926, and Disney has been producing animations since 1966, when the OP would have been about 14. So what exactly did you mean, when you said Winnie the Pooh wasn't around in the OP's time? Even if she had been too old for the animations, she could have read the books.
