Today, my bratty sister shoved me overboard during a boat ride. Not ten seconds after being pulled back on board, I got an earful of abuse from my parents. My sister is the family favorite and they refuse to believe that I didn't "provoke" her. FML

Today, my uncle picked up a tissue box and threw it at my sister for fun. My sister got mad and yeeted the box at me. I reacted with the same action, but she lost her crap and kicked and punched me. When I reported the incident to my parents, I get berated and my sister got away with it. FML

Today, I woke up to my little sister strangling me. My parents accused me of making the red marks on my throat myself to exaggerate how bad it was. She's just "going through a phase", they say, and I'm a bad person for punching her to get her off me. FML

Today, my demented little sister walked up to me and kicked me between the legs. I told my parents, but they just accusingly asked me what I did to provoke her. When I said, "Nothing", they accused me of lying. There is no justice. FML

Today, I was at a pool party. My friend's little sister pushed me in the pool. When I got out, I pushed her in. She started screaming, and I started laughing because I thought she was pissed that I pushed her in. That wasn't why she was screaming. She can't swim. Her whole family witnessed it. FML

Today, my sister smashed a cup on my head because I told her she couldn't borrow one of my necklaces since she lost one and stole another. I was grounded for "antagonizing" her into doing it. FML

Today, my sister and mom were arguing. My sister was being really nasty to my mom, and decided to get nasty with me and drag me into the argument. Naturally, I got nasty back at her and we started fighting. My mom yelled at me for getting nasty with my sister, and kicked me out of the house for “being too nasty.” FML

Today, I told my mom that having watched my sister ruin her life having kids who grew into brats with criminal records before their teens, I refused to ruin my life the same way and will be childless. I then turned to leave and they were in the doorway, my sister and her two brats. I got slapped. FML

Today, my little sister was being picked on by some kids. After seeing one push her, I went over to talk to them about how bullying isn't cool and how they need to play nice. They beat me up. I'm 22 years-old and got beat up by a group of 10 year-olds. FML

Things like this happened to me so I just stopped talking to my parents till they actually did something. Not sure if this will work for you since each family is different

I can't stand parents who favor one child over the other. So sorry, OP. I'd suggest moving out, but depending on your age and income, I know that's not an easy thing to do. Perhaps you could stay with a friend, at least for a while? Obviously not a family member, if your whole family favors your sister. >.<

Steal her clothes while she's asleep, try and match her hairstyle, etc. and stuff your bed with pillows when everyone is sleeping. Then, get a friend with similar hands to film a video of you, with your back to the camera, taking her things in the night and planting it in your room. After filming, hide it at your friend's place. When she complains and demands a new one, show your parents the video and try and convince them she was just trying to get even more stuff.

They'll hopefully look under your bed, find nothing and finally do something to her. Then, get your friend to smuggle the things back into your house in a backpack or something and put her "stolen" stuff in her closet when everyone is sleeping.

OP, you might be dealing with Narcissism in your family. Go look up Narcissism and Golden Child/Scapegoat. I think you are the scapegoat who gets criticized for everything and your sister is the golden child who can do no wrong.

Honestly try to get her to do it again try to get injured but not seriously then at the hospital tell them all about it the marks would prove it if not try to place a waterproof camera to get the footage as evidence.
