eh just be glad their divorce was pleasant. my dad told me I would be a stupid bitch like my mom. After he served divorce papers on their 25th wedding anniversary, also waiting until me, the youngest, was 18 so he didn't have to pay child support. He also threw a fit that he wasn't mentioned in her obituary 2 months ago after 7 years being divorced.

Sorry to hear that OP. At least they tried to be there for you as a family while you were growing up. perhaps they thought you were old enough to handle the news.
