Like the others said, after a year you should have been pressing for more information than just a picture. I can understand you thought you had found someone special, but realize there are a significant amount of weirdo's on the internet. If you were afraid of pushing too hard and ending the relationship because they felt pressured, you should have gradually eased to some of this. Phone call, skype, something. Sorry you wasted a year, but YDI. I would be curious to know how you found out though.

I'm thinking this is fake, or he's an idiot. Sorry, but how do u go over a year without talking to, or seeing someone u are "dating?" Internet dating is fine or whatever, but at least speak to them or see them. lol

I've been dating with someone online for a while. Its nice and I haven't met them. I don't care who they are irl because its just nice to be with them. I don't like people who pretend to be the opposite sex tho because then it gets weird.

i feel like i've heard this one before. and dude, that sucks. ask some super intimate questions only a girl would know next time. or just dont internet date. talk to people in PERSON next time. good luck.
