Today, my girlfriend left her phone on a bus. With no way to pick it up, I drove 40 miles through Friday night Boston traffic to get it from the bus company office. It took me four hours. Bored in traffic, I discovered the texts from her other boyfriend. FML

Today, I went to visit my aunt who lives 6 hours away from me. Her car was missing from her driveway, but she's unemployed and barely leaves the house. Turns out, she moved in with her new boyfriend and didn't tell anyone, so I had to drive 6 hours back. FML

Today, my boyfriend and our so-called “friends” left us stranded at a park, when our phones and wallets were also missing. I had to walk nearly four miles in tears before I eventually got a ride from a stranger. Luckily, my phone was returned to my mom, but I’m still in tears from the distress. FML

Today, my girlfriend and I were waiting for the bus. The weather had been cold and snowy recently, and I realized I'd forgotten my transit card. She nonetheless got on the bus without me. I had to walk it alone in the snow. FML

I agree with #38 to the point where it's not even funny. Most of the FMLs with ****** up boyfriends and girlfriends could be easily avoided by taking your damn blinders off. Yes sometimes they can blindside you, but most of the time...come on...really....did you not see that coming? I don't care if my boyfriend goes through my phone (mainly because his phone doesn't have unlimited text so we share mine) because I have nothing to hide. Tip number one, if your significant other is super obsessive possessive about his/her phone, something is up..I promise you. At least you found this out, now keep the phone, throw it in a lake, break up with her for 'undisclosed reasons' ("I just don't love you anymore), and leave that bitch in the bed that she made.
