Today, my husband and I stopped at a scenic overlook on top of a mountain. I looked down and noticed several small shells and excitedly called him over. I said, "I can't believe I found fossils here!" The moment it came out of my mouth, I realized they were pistachio shells. So did he. FML

Well aren't you a modern day Indiana Jones! If you dig underneath the shells a little bit, maybe you will find the perfectly preserved bones of the caveman that ate those pistachios!!

That's the beauty of marriage (and relationships in general), OP. Goofy moments like this often turn into inside jokes. :) I say stupid shit like that all the time, and once it comes out of my mouth my husband and I just laugh about it.
