Maybe OP went for the spoon-snuggle in line, forcing the woman into the big spoon position, rubbing the woman's chest with get back. Her boyfriend could have seen but thought she was just standing too close, not noticing her trying to hold her hands. Kind of understandable, assuming that's what happened.
