Today, I was walking in the mountains when I tripped, and I grabbed onto a fence in an attempt to soften my fall. The fence was electric. FML

Usually there are signs warning of such things, but I probably would've grabbed the fence out of instinct. Sorry, that's horrible.

ouch! why are there electric fences on a MOUNTAIN?!?! its not like u can rob it or theres jewelz in it! ppl these dayz, i mean cum on u cant own a mountain!

103- could be for livestock of sorts. I'm sure OP didn't mean like a rocky cliff mountain, just maybe some steep hills and fields. The kind you'd see Shirley Temple's "Heidi" running around in, ya know?

Electric fences don't even hurt, I grabbed those things for laughs when i was like 8

I grabbed them for fun also when i was little they don't hurt at all unless you grab two different wires because then the electricity meets at your chest and gets a lot more painful.
