And in today's episode of man vs dog..dog wins!!
Ok so basically you're saying that you just got outsmarted by your dog? Take it off her and except the fact that she's smarter than you.
Take what off of her? The post said it is a device, not a collar.
And I think you mean *accept*
Reward the dog when he/she's silent, and a spray bottle with some cold water when they're loud. My pup is silent, never barks. Good luck OP, some dogs are quite stubborn but they're worth it :)
I guess you just took a lickin' from that dog.
Yeah dogs are really smart. Try socializing your dog more to get it used to people. Helped me
How does that help with the barking? My dog absolutely loves people and is very social, but she still barks at them through the window when they walk by.
That would be because your dog is very social and loves people. Barking is how dogs speak so chances are your dog is sitting at the window saying things like "Hey, Hey you! Hey wanna play? Wanna pet me. Not you, I was talking to the other one... oh he's gone. Hey! YOU Wanna play?"
With the occasional "GET OFF MY LAWN" thrown in I'm sure.
Yay I'm not the only who know that is animals talk To us!
I bought something like that for my dog.. It didnt work.. Instead of learning not to bark, she would freak out when the noise went off and just bark at the device and then attack the cat.
How come the poor cats get it in the end? Mine attacks my cat when he gets freaked out too. Except my cat is part bad ass and wins.
My cat meows but she won't do anything about it. She won't use her claws or even hiss at the dog, she basically just sits there and lets it happen.
Seems like you were barking up the wrong tree with your remedy. Canine you dig deeper and bone up on what might muzzle your aggressive and irritating mutt?

I would take it off. There are other ways to train your dog not to bark. You just need time to teach her.
Looks like your dog owned you
