haha and you are an idiot!!
I don't know of a single salon that does lice treatments. If someone comes in with lice we have to sanitize everything. Any combs, brushes, towels, dryers, bowls for color, anything we use of have on our station has to be cleaned and sanitized. State regulations. If we treated lice infestations and the state came in we would be shut down. Not to mention all the time it takes to clean and sanitize everything takes time and takes us away from clients and takes money from our pocket. YDI because come on how can you not know you have lice? Does your head normally itch that much? Come on you knew something was up. And to the people who think it is our job to deal lice you are dead wrong. It is not our job call any salon and ask if they treat lice all of them will say no and if someone says yes then you need to call the state to get them looked at for unsanitary practices.
i had really long hair and all through school used to get lice as my hair is really clean and being really long used to be more at danger of touching other people's hair or laying across the back of chairs recently vacated by lice sufferers. And yes, you can get lice from chairs. once found a huge adult louse on the headrest of my chair in the library at school.
a salon once gave me lice, they could have done the same to you

The same thing happened to my daughter. The stylist told her to leave immediately and that state law required her to thoroughly sanitize her workstation. My daughter was humiliated.
you must have young kids!?
A hair salon should never ban a person that has or has had lice. They are supposed to inform the client, in a polite way, that they are infected and send them on their way to treat themselves accordingly. I once had a male client come in on the weekend to get a cut because he was going on a special date. He had a horrible case of lice. I was not rude, and I felt embarrassed for him. OP, if that stylist was rude and unprofessional you don't need to go back there anyway.
Exactly. I've NEVER heard of anyone being banned because they had lice. they would be discreetly asked to leave to deal with their problem, and come back when it was resolved, that's what sterilising tools and barbercide is for, so when you give a consultation, you can disinfect any combs etc you've used. the only place I can think of who would possibly consider banning someone because of lice, is an incredibly high Market place that the average FML user wouldn't be using...

And you didn't notice from the itching, or the little white eggs?
Just fix your lice problem and find a different salon. If I were you op I wouldn’t want to go back to that salon.
