Today, lice were found in my hair. At the hair salon. I'm now banned from that salon. FML

Just fix your lice problem and find a different salon. If I were you op I wouldn’t want to go back to that salon.

taking more showers would make it worse! lice love clean hair! they need to use a special shampoo amd comb to get em out! I haven't had lice before but I know people who have and that's what they had to do to get em out

I`va actually heard of salons that do treat lice, but they are rare and that`s all they do, it`s genereally used by parents when they have kids suffering from lice. If and stylist finds lice in a clients hair and continues to serve that client, they could spread the problem, the salon would get a bad reputation and would lose clients. However I doubt they would have banned someone from the salon permenantly, more likely they asked OP to leave until she had dealt with the problem.

One time lice invaded my town and burnt down my favorite pizza place. It was awful.

#19, Actually, speaking from personal experience the length of hair doesn't matter when you have lice. I was five and had lice in my medium length hair causing my dad to get it cut into a short boys haircut a week in only for me to have them for another two and a half week.
