Cursed cursive

Today, I was called by my son's school. They said he'd been forging my signature and comments in his reading book. He didn't forge them. I don't know what's worse: my handwriting looking like a 6 year-old's, or being too cowardly to admit it. He has a week of lunch detention, but I still have my dignity. FML

You let your kid get a week's worth of detention because you won't admit it was you? Some parent you are. Your kid's gonna be pissed at you, and you deserve all of it.

on a funny note: My mother always signed my permissions slips and everything. When i was in 2nd grade she had my brother and my dad had to sign things when she was in the hospital. I was kept at school during a field trip because they couldn't reach my family..... my dad had signed the papers. He is left handed. He owned up to it.... but its still funny that the same thing happened

I'm with the others - this was a horrible thing to do. Aren't you supposed to put your children before yourself? What an asshole.

Dude...I have horrible penmanship too. It--it isn't shameful. It doesn't make us bad people. We can still do great things! Just own up to it! And stand up for all bad-handwriters everywhere!

YDI for being a terrible parent. You should be ashamed of yourself.

yea, at least you have your dignity, you ****** pussy

also teaching your son good life lessons on how to be a man...

what kind of parent are you? do you care about your child at all? why on earth would you make your 6 year old son take the blame of something YOU did. hes what in 1st grade? and youre teaching him bad lessons that you probably will regret in the future. im glad my mom never did that

You're a terrible parent and will, undoubtedly, screw up your child's life. How the hell do you explain to a six year old that he is being punished because his parent's ego is out of control? I sincerely hope you get a clue and realize that your son is ALREADY a better person than you will ever be and he deserves to be treated better than this. If not, he will surely grow up to despise you for putting your own pathetic needs (and "dignity") ahead of his.

You're a dick. You think "your dignity" is worth getting your son a week of detention? If you do that, you don't have dignity.

Jesus Christ!!! Everyone takes this site so ******* seriously!! It's supposed to be a jokey site. This probably isn't even true guys! ******* hell, your comments are so over the top! Calm the **** down.
