Deception

Today, I went out to a restaurant to meet a girl that I met online. When I arrived, I texted her and she said she was wearing a blue shirt. The only person that was wearing anything blue was a fat man smiling in the corner. FML

Was your "girl" a guy or did she ditch you?

Heard of the MTV show "Catfish"? Lots of people pretend to be someone else. It happens to a lot of people. Sorry it happend to you :(

Maybe she asked her fat uncle to sit there in a blue shirt, while she sat at another table in a jacket of another color. If you liked you "IRL" she would have popped off the jacket to reveal her blue shirt to you. I can only wonder what kind of lies and exaggerations you handed this poor girl.

Assuming that OP did play pair, it is a dick move to pull such a trick. On the other hand, if OP were a lair she would not be any better than him in doing so.

#47, I just think it's an artifact of meeting people online. Would it have been nicer to let him treat her to dinner and then have her say, "You're not what I expected from our online chats?"

Well yeah, I mean if you are to reject someone have the balls to do it face to face.

#57, if a girl had balls, she wouldn't be a girl.

I see your point but you know damn well what I mean XD

o.o well i guess thats why they invented pic messaging and webcams. and you cant be too mad..he technically had ****

Sounds like the beginning of a gory horror movie.

Hope you don't mean "**** with" literally.

Did you go to the wrong restaurant

And this, kids, is a textbook example of why you should never try and get a girlfriend over the internet.

Online dating sites are a joke. Half of the people usually are fake or scams.
