Doggy dog world

Today, I bought some bitter-apple spray to stop my puppy chewing on everything. Later, I found out how effective it was, when I tried to eat a sandwich, and gagged at the horrifying taste on my hands. My dog seems unaffected, and continues to chew the table legs. FML

There are other products out there worth trying... like cayenne pepper. Plus, discourage it when you discover your dog doing it and then give large rewards for chewing on appropriate items.

Tried this myself in the past. It worked when each time caught the dog chewing sprayed directly into her mouth. It stopped quickly. Also, cayenne pepper works wonders!

Rolled, up newspaper, open hand, switch, ruler? Works all the time. . .And let the name-calling, insults, and down-thumbing commence

Damn it!! Improperly placed comma!! I apologize fellow grammar Nazis

I just got some bitter apple spray for the baby ferret we just purchased, because she has been a biting nusince since we got her. It didn't do a whole lot to help with the biting, and it smells pretty awful.

"You ate an entire table leg, Baxter? I'm not even mad, I'm impressed."

don't you wash your hands before touching food?
