Doggy dog world

Today, I bought some bitter-apple spray to stop my puppy chewing on everything. Later, I found out how effective it was, when I tried to eat a sandwich, and gagged at the horrifying taste on my hands. My dog seems unaffected, and continues to chew the table legs. FML

and here I thought having a sandwich after any task was great...

That would be why we wash our hands before we eat. As for your dog, it's time to get him a pen

Exactly, wash your hands! You would have thought it was pounded into every person's brain after going through elementary school

Your puppy is probably teething. Lots and lots of chew toys until your puppy is trained better.(:

Puppies can be difficult. Don't worry, hopefully he will grow out of it, and you can have spray free sandwiches again :) Happy training, OP!

Puppies are hard to train. Keep trying and do more research on your dog breed.

Honestly puppies aren't hard to train. You just need to be consistent and patient and they'll be perfectly trained. I've used the same techniques on quite a few dog breeds and they work out fine.

Puppies are hard to train if you don't know anything about dogs. My puppy is in the middle of the tooth-thingy, and as soon as he tries to chew on something he can't chew on, I tell him to stop. After a couple of times, he knows it's forbidden and believe it or not - none of or furniture, mats or anything has been damaged. Then again, he's also a smart dog.

Some dogs are hard to train. I've had a few that are hard to train so I had to do more research. Some breeds are harder to train than others because some are more stubborn than others.

Look up alternatives or enjoy the uber cuteness of your puppy chewing on things!

Tobasco sauce is what I used with my puppy! Dilute it with water and spray it on floor level stuff. That way it's not too hot and it won't stain! Good luck! :)

almost as bad as cooking with spices like cayenne pepper and then itching your nose and then accidentally inhale the residue.

I'm assuming it is actually horrible but 'bitter apple spray' sounds quite nice. Like a sour apple sweet. : P

You can make that mistake if you want to.
