Doggy dog world

Today, I bought some bitter-apple spray to stop my puppy chewing on everything. Later, I found out how effective it was, when I tried to eat a sandwich, and gagged at the horrifying taste on my hands. My dog seems unaffected, and continues to chew the table legs. FML

We tried the same thing with my dog. She started to like the spray.

Well if your screen name implies the breed of your puppy I have some bad news for you. Out of My two mutts right now one loves the spray and the other cant stand it how ever loves all things spicy and as a puppy would eat the halbaneros right off the bush. Just don't give up and keep experimenting till you find some thing that will work. I have had 7 hybrids and they all responded different.

Puppies chew things it's just something they do. Maybe buy some chew toys, and if they continue to chew badly past 6months of age it could be a behavioral problem and you should seek advice from your local vet clinic. Not trying to be a know it all push over or whatever, buts it's always good to know.

Try exercising your dog on a regular basis. The chewing is from pent up energy that it has found a way to release it by chewing. And you have to show the dog that chewing is unacceptable. Try to catch the dog before it starts chewing. A little nudge and a firm "leave it" should work.

I can totally relate. No amount of washing gets that stuff off! Gets in the air and sticks on your lips and all.

Umm chew toy? Comes to mind ever thing of that idiot

Think=thing Just thought you should know your error before you start calling others names
