You could always try the coins in a can trick. However, I will warn you that there is a 50% chance that your dog will shit all over the floor in fright.
Is this a previous FML reference? I saw an FML like that.
Yes ma'am
Sounds like he's teething. Been said many times already but lots of toys. Raw hides are great too. And play time. A tired puppy is a happy puppy. I gave my lab ice cubes. He loves them. He's only chewed up a wood boot rack, shoelace ends and one dog bed.
Man you are lucky. When my lab was a pup, it didn't matter what I gave him, he still chewed through everything. I even caught him gnawing off rubber on a tractor tire
Ya he is unbelievably good. At 5 months he would sit in front of a full food bowl until I say ok. He's 8 months now. Now my lab before this one... Totally different story.
That puppy is bored. Bring home toys in which you can put (and actually do) a treat inside. When you find your puppy bitting the furniture put him in his carrier or a playpen. Don't caress or give treats while he or her is in there. But remember, the puppy is bored!
It's a PUPPY. He's probably about to get those teeth out..:|
Dogs are puppies aound one year after birth. If the puppy is damaging the furniture by chewing it, chances are he or she has teeth already.
And it also takes quite a time to loose all teeth, and a puppy is considered young adult or whatever it's called in english when it hits puberty, so if it has lost all its teeth already, it shouldn't be a puppy anymore.
Ghost peppers do the trick or if you think it's excessive use something a little weaker
You need to soak the table with it, my dog did the same thing
You need to condition the dog first, spray a good amount straight into his mouth first. He will fight it but it part of the procedure
Good idea. Teach the dog to be afraid of you every time you go to handle his mouth. The vets will just loooove you later
get a kong. it's good for teething and you can put treats in them so that they are obsessed with getting the treat out and pay attention to nothing else.
If op has a strong jawed dog, like my pit bull, a kong will only work for a couple days before it is turned into a bunch of itty-bitty rubber bits.
Try mint

Try hot sauce instead?
That happened to me once, it's disgusting!
