Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. Devastated, he withered onto the floor into an inconsolable wreck in front of dozens of people. The ribbon of embarrassment that went down my spine was too much for me to handle, so I had to tell him I was "only joking." FML

The arguments in comments are funny, but I have to agree with half. Don't break up with him in front of dozens of people, especially if he's that attached to you. To say you were only joking makes you look like a bitch in front of all of them: so if you care what they think, you should have done it in private.

I really don't know why people use this expression "grow/get some balls" cos logically it doesn't make sense. Balls are extremely sensitive spot; having to pairs of balls would make you way more vulnerable than having one so technically the right thing to say would be "lose some balls" cos it would make you less vulnerable but hey go figure.....
