Better go to the doctor because you just ate a bunch of bacterium.
"Bacterium" is the singular, so you should say "a bunch of bacteria" which is the plural. But mold isn't even bacteria; it's fungus. Your post sucks. You fail both science and English forever.
I always heard/saw "culture" used (interchangably with "colony") to denote a colony of bacteria that was deliberately grown, like in a Petri dish. The word "bacteria" is simply the plural of "bacterium". I demonstrate the usage of all: "I took a swab of bacteria from YOUR MOM'S cooch, and started a culture for future study".
Sounds like my idea of a good time.
