Birds > Butterflies Sadness > 1st Graders Good job, you taught the kids the circle of life- in a real life situation.
hahah 8 wins
Now go ahead and explain to the kids survival of the fittest ;) Another lesson about the cycles of life =D
hahahaha. aww thats so sad.
#10, stop trolling the FMLs to try and find something false. Seriously, do you have nothing better to do?
"And next week, kids, we will study how birds are closely related to Tyrannosaurus Rex."
It's only called a cocoon for moths. For butterflies, it's a chrysalis. [/irrelevant]
That sucks, but I hope you at least checked to make sure you weren't surrounded by hungry birds, and just got ambushed.

So they learn about life and death...killing two birds with one stone. Or two butterflies with one bird. Take your pick.
#4/5: You are aware that there a lots of different kinds of birds, right? With different diets? There aren't really enough worms in the world to sustain the entire avian population. Plenty of birds are insectivores. And, at least the kids learned about 'the circle of life'? I would have been pretty upset if a bird ate my butterfly though :(
