I'm sorry, but this is freaking hilarious!!! You should've thought to ask him about it first. I mean, it is his work. I have no artistic talent, but if I did, and someone took one of my drawings and used it as a tattoo without my permission, I'd be a little upset

as an artist, you totally deserved it for stealing his art. it's sweet you wanted something of his design, but you should have asked him to design you something specifically for you. kudos for getting a tattoo though, hope it looks awesome!
