Show it anywayTattoos have nothing to do with their beauty. Why be so shallow? It doesn't matter if the tattoo is a tramp stamp or on their hand or whatever, the fact that you overlook a girl and her personality because she has a tattoo is a **** up on your part.
Overlook their personality? Isn't that what a tattoo usually is, a visual representation of their personality, who they were or the memory of some drunken night where you screwed up bad?
We are not Native Americans. I don't get an eagle because my name is Spreading Eagle or I have the personality of an eagle. Granted some do, but a lot of people get tattoos because they have a meaning to them, such as Japanese Kanji, a Cross/Bible Verse, or their mom's name or what have you.

Show it anyway"tatoo's are very rarely gotten by anyone with intellectual tendencies, and even people that are very creative and have good thoughts but arent intellectuals dont generally get them." You don't speak for everybody. I know plenty of intellectual people with ink. Hey douchenozzle, how's it feel to be that high on that horse of yours? Or can you not hear me from such great heights?
That would be wonderful, mercy! I'll have to make sure with her, although I'm sure she'll be okay with it :D
"While those are related, tatoo's are very rarely gotten by anyone with intellectual tendencies, and even people that are very creative and have good thoughts but arent intellectuals dont generally get them." You're a ******* moron. I suggest you pull your head out of your ass, and stop making ridiculous generalizations. Unless you've done extensive research to back your bullshit statements up, I strongly urge you to keep them to yourself so you can avoid broadcasting your stupidity to everyone on this site.
Wow Obvious, just wow. I didn't think you would say something so stupid. __________________________ www.myspace.com/rapid99
What does being Native American have to do with it? If you're attempting to make a generalization about tattoos and who gets them, I know several white people who have tribal tattoos. So what?

Show it anywayNative Americans would get a tattoo as a reference of their spirit. My point was not everyone gets tattoos as a sign of their personality and more as something that has meaning to them, such as the examples I listed. I guarantee you most people that get tribal bands on their arms or legs don't know what the symbols represent. ______________________________ www.myspace.com/rapid99
@36- No, sir.
I would agree with you on that. But I do also think that 'something that has meaning to them' would relate to their personality.
I think it falls more under their belief than their personality _________________________ www.myspace.com/rapid99
I guess I generally consider personality as a collective term under which beliefs, opinions, etc. fall. But taking it as one quality and belief as another, yeh, I'd agree.
I'm thumbing down every comment that has a "signature" attached to it.
im just saying people can do what they want and write what they want on their bodies. it doesn't make them ugly, but physically i feel that tatoos expressing yourself is something that should be their personality. putting something on your skin doesn't make you what you are but perhaps a way to say what you want. I just like a body without tatoos personal preference. Its not like oh tatoo. . . you have sinned, i feel sorry for you. Its like i like skin, but whatever.
Yay! I still have my mercy! Good. Sisters FTW.
cerebellum, I do believe #100 was replying to #31, not you
and they're like, "She's hotter than yours. Damn right, she's hotter than yours." You can have some, but I have to charge. My MILFshake is hotter than yours. ;D
I love you so much for that reference.
Don't make the twins puke! WINCEST! - Your milfshake. Sorry, short comments, kind busy. ;)
@ Number 84: EXACTLY what I was going to write!
Megan Fox as well... but she's a total idiot, so you can pick your side.
Can I just say, Mr. 'intellectual," that you're spelling TATTOO'S wrong? Dude, I'm fifteen years old, and I'm probably more intellectual than you will ever be in your life. no joke. I'm out of high school already. Tattoo's are awesome, and there's really no connection between 'intellectual' and 'tattoo.'
You'd probably be suprised at how many doctors, surgeons, lawyers, professors, and other people who are intelligent and went to college have tattoos, but cover them. Have you met and spoken to every person who has a tattoo and personally reviewed their intelligence? Just because someone has an interest in something you dislike doesn't make them stupid.
1. Tattoos. Not "Tatoo's". 2. Language is not an invention. 3. You are clearly lacking in intellectual tendencies, as shown in your narrow-minded ideas and lack of spelling and grammar. 4. I have 6 tattoos and I'm graduating college in a total of 3 years with two Bachelor's degrees so I can go straight into a doctoral program. Oh, and MANY people I know in PhD programs have tattoos so you sir or madam, are a ******* idiot. Good day!
One learn to spell something right if you are going to argue it. I know several people in college with bible verses tattoo-ed on their arms, who have memorial tattoos in honor of deceased loved ones. I also know people who have butterflies and "tramp stamps" because they like them. Do you want me to come to your house and tell you how to style your hair or practice your religion or tell you what to wear? Or better yet I could tell you how to express yourself. Tattoos are an expression of the self, even if it is just a shallow expression, it shows where people have been and where they are going. I, sir, have a tattoo on my shoulder in honor of my dead brother. The only reason you do not like tattoos is because your are Puritanical and following a subconscious cultural shift from the Bible that states not to do Pagan rituals such as braiding the hair and tattooing. You are not original, open minded, or creative. If you were you wouldn't condemn people as being below you. Hitler did that and we all saw how that worked out for him.
tattoos are a beautiful thing, everyone has there opinion, but I mean come on, it's art, but I do agree that when certain ppl get rats they just look nasty. but I believe that women with tattoos can look beautiful and can look nasty...but sometimes having rats can help ur career. for example if you walk into a salon and want a 50's/rockabilly hairstyle and 2 outta 5 stylist have tats, then your going to pick the one that has the old fashioned looking tats right?
Please keep your negative comments to yourself. Everyone has their own opinions.
When they say "intellectual" they're not really referring to intellect. That word has been warped by leftists to refer to another studied leftist. If you have not gone to a Marxist approved university and do not publicly espouse support for all of the most current "progressive" causes of the day, the leftists who call themselves "intellectuals" will question your intelligence and doubt the validity of anything you say, no matter how glaringly obvious the truth is.
Nothin sexier than a girl with a sleeve
I have 3 tattoos. Does that make me ugly?
my neurologist, my boss and almost every doctor I work with has been inked. 2 of them even have a full inked body suit. I'm a medical student, pediatric oncology, in my internships right now, and I have my upper back and arms tattood. still im the one who might save your child. Ink doesn't define intellect.
I'm sorry, but this is freaking hilarious!!! You should've thought to ask him about it first. I mean, it is his work. I have no artistic talent, but if I did, and someone took one of my drawings and used it as a tattoo without my permission, I'd be a little upset
Agreed. You have no right to use another person's art for any reason from a legal standpoint, even if they are your boyfriend. And from an emotional standpoint, especially if they are your boyfriend. A person's art holds a great deal of emotionality. Even if it hadn't been for his ex-girlfriend, there could have been any number of emotional associations with that design that have nothing to do with you. Assuming that you can stick your fat relationship into the rest of his emotional life is arrogant and naive.
Yeaaaah, I'd have to say the same thing, and I do have talent (or at least promise lol). Of course most of my stuff is cartooning who the hell would get a tattoo of a random cartoon character, other than someone like Bugs Bunny or Mickey Mouse? AND... exactly, she didn't know the meaning behind the doodle! For all she knew, he could have drawn a penis a la acid trip, or it could have been a design he made for an arrangement of flowers on his grandma's casket. (Which is why if I got a tattoo I'd shy away from things like Asian lettering and such, because I've no confirmation it means what they say it does) "Assuming that you can stick your fat relationship into the rest of his emotional life is arrogant and naive." I'm thinking you mean at this point, correct? Because I would hope a relationship gets involved with the emotional life after a while...
Playing tonsil hockey does not give you a right to his things. This also proves you do not value his art. If you did you would have asked him how he 1) felt about tattoos. I take it that you didn't know he drew tattoo designs for people or you would have asked about that specific drawing and if it was a tattoo. 2) Don't value your boyfriends opinion or his talent. If you did you would have asked. 3) Are a stupid ****.

Tattoo's can be removed.
Not big on tattoos... I like little ones, like a flower on my shoulder or a tattoo anklet. Big ones bother me. Anyway, that's really, really strange.
